<section id="H427E9134864E42549D828AFE3C31658D" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Jurisdictional Determination Backlog Reduction Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H51CF6EE0E29B498FB869EC2456C2221D"><enum>2.</enum><header>Elimination of backlog of applications for jurisdictional determinations and permits</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Not later than 60 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of the Army, acting through the Chief of Engineers, shall expedite such procedures and reallocate or augment such personnel and resources of the Corps of Engineers as the Secretary determines necessary to eliminate any backlog existing as June 5, 2025, of—</text> 
<paragraph id="H6AC037A6302642529735669ECE535878"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">applications for permits under section 404 of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/33/1344">33 U.S.C. 1344</external-xref>); or</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="HDEE27772159547B888D4156AC9CF9790"><enum>(2)</enum><text>requests for jurisdictional determinations under the jurisdiction of the Secretary.</text> </paragraph></section>
