<section id="HDA5CD30FF5AA4899B3A4777FF29CB2D3" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Freedom to Frack Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="H6A97CB4A7D2741C9A6A7EADEAADE6D0B"><enum>2.</enum><header>Prohibition on hydraulic fracturing</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 545(c) of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/17155">42 U.S.C. 17155</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text> <quoted-block style="OLC" id="HD2270696787140B4A16983C06D426898" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <paragraph id="H58C36BD711E64AB39160318CB4695042"><enum>(6)</enum><header>Ineligibility</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">A State may not be eligible for a grant under the program if such State establishes or continues to enforce a prohibition of hydraulic fracturing, as defined in section 60.5430a of title 40, Code of Federal Regulations (or any successor regulation), within such State.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </section>
