<section id="HCB17BDFA2C3C42B385ABAC64FD92121C" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Battery and Regenerative Braking Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H20CB1A29D27F4F07B05A9D99C9DF2F35" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Consolidated rail infrastructure and safety improvements</header> <text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 22907 of title 49, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>

<subsection id="H06C29F28E8384924B034E94BB71C0541"><enum>(m)</enum><header>Additional eligible entities and projects</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to the eligibility provided in subsections (b) and (c), an entity providing commuter rail passenger transportation, as defined in section 24102, shall be eligible under this section for projects to develop and implement regenerative braking and energy storage technologies.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </section> </legis-body></bill>
