<section id="H0852C9407EE34892AA169D4BCA59E8CB" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>VA Loan Informed Disclosure Act of 2025</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>VALID Act of 2025</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="HBF4C961F80744A35B51B1B4F9C3A7BED"><enum>2.</enum><header>FHA Informed Consumer Choice Disclosure</header> <subsection id="H0D5F2E6638BF45AFBCCDFF86F1DCE934"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Inclusion of information relating to VA loans</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subparagraph (A) of section 203(f)(2) of the National Housing Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/12/1709">12 U.S.C. 1709(f)(2)(A)</external-xref>) is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="HC64A12CBE22F4FB487DC30015B7BDA57"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by inserting <quote>(i)</quote> after <quote>loan-to-value ratio</quote>; and</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H40E12BF00075412EA027C2884362215D"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by inserting before the semicolon the following: <quote>, and (ii) in connection with a loan guaranteed or insured under <external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/38/37">chapter 37</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, assuming prevailing interest rates</quote>.</text></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="H0DE2B7C323594407A584F4A2E157B0EB"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Rule of construction</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Nothing in the amendments made by subsection (a) shall be construed to require an original lender to determine whether a prospective borrower is eligible for any loan included in the notice required under section 203(f) of the National Housing Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/12/1709">12 U.S.C. 1709(f)</external-xref>).</text></subsection></section> <section id="HDD64B85E1E5D42C49646EE468CC0B47E" section-type="subsequent-section" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>3.</enum><header>Military service question</header> <subsection id="HB16B7BB40FA3472997E5E8EBBFA66DAE"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subpart A of part 2 of subtitle A of title 13 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1992 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/12/4541">12 U.S.C. 4541 et seq.</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text> 
<quoted-block style="OLC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H57D0BBB99B6A42398B2A2AA85D356E70"> 
<section id="H8B2BC8264A164662B8AD1BD74249C2EA"><enum>1329.</enum><header>Uniform Residential Loan Application</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Director shall, not later than 6 months after the date of the enactment of this section, require each enterprise to—</text> <paragraph id="HFB4A2EE4D11A460683AA8A5549444B0B"><enum>(1)</enum><text>include a military service question on the form known as the Uniform Residential Loan Application; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H993FCB22059049D7BDABE02222C7BDEA"><enum>(2)</enum><text>position such question above the signature line of the Uniform Residential Loan Application.</text></paragraph></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection> <subsection id="HD90264EA8C9849478ECD7A5ABB981AE6"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Rulemaking</header><text>The Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency shall, not later than 6 months after the date of the enactment of this section, issue a rule to carry out the amendment made by this section.</text></subsection></section>
