            communication requirements for certain disaster assistance, and for other

<section id="H461B8C4148664FBEA9DEEFBA9F3256A8" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Modification to application deadlines and communication requirements for certain disaster assistance</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 7(b) of the Small Business Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/636">15 U.S.C. 636(b)</external-xref>) is amended—</text> <paragraph id="H0381748EF6F3410F993CBBC1EE27716C"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (4)—</text> 
<subparagraph id="H383151307E8840578830B2A487C3DA22"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in subparagraph (A)—</text> <clause id="HB8D28D6BD6BE4544948BFC953169E7EF"><enum>(i)</enum><text>by striking <quote>correspond with application deadlines</quote> and inserting <quote>end on the date that is 60 days after any application deadlines that are</quote>; and</text></clause> 
<clause id="HDA59E65D14394409929D02C0DC5C12B7"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>by striking <quote>, or as</quote> and inserting <quote>or that are</quote>;</text> </clause></subparagraph> <subparagraph id="HDFF10C6C81AC4ED0AB9589119AF8EC6A"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following new subparagraphs:</text>

<subparagraph id="H68702F8D050D4ABB9D86613FB8A2311A" commented="no"><enum>(C)</enum><header>Late applications</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Administrator may accept an application for disaster relief relating to a major disaster under this paragraph at any time after the deadline in subparagraph (A) if the applicant demonstrates good cause for the late submission.</text> </subparagraph> <after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subparagraph> <subparagraph id="HBB2624D879C845BCBF93C9F380B2947E"><enum>(C)</enum><text>in subparagraph (B), in the matter preceding clause (i), by striking <quote>and the Committee on Small Business of the House of Representatives</quote> and inserting <quote>, the Committee on Small Business of the House of Representatives, and each office of a Member of Congress that represents a district in which a major disaster has occurred</quote>; and</text></subparagraph></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H80FD8B65349842E7A09ED2D9741BFBF2"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in paragraph (5), in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by inserting <quote>and to communicate to each office of a Member of Congress that represents a district in which a major disaster has occurred,</quote> after <quote>web-based outlets,</quote>.</text></paragraph></section> </legis-body></bill>
