Short title

This Act may be cited as the Manned Aircraft Clarification Act.

Criminal penalties relating to manned aircraft

(a)

Destruction of manned aircraft

(1)

In general

Section 32 of title 18, United States Code, is amended— (A)in the section heading, by inserting manned before aircraft or; (B)in subsection (a)(1)— (i)by inserting manned before aircraft in the special aircraft jurisdiction; and (ii)by inserting manned before civil; and (C)in subsection (b), by inserting manned before civil each place it appears. (2)

Table of sections amendment

The table of sections for chapter 2 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by striking the item related to section 32 and inserting the following: 32. Destruction of manned aircraft or aircraft facilities.. (b)

Aircraft piracy

Section 46502(a)(1)(A) of title 49, United States Code, is amended by striking an aircraft and inserting a manned aircraft.
