<section id="HD7D1FCD199864396B81669A338F8308E" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Prohibition on reduction, elimination, or suspension of funding for land-grant colleges and universities</header> 
<subsection id="H1F499CA4D21B46938272F8B44A805CD8"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary of Agriculture, or any other Federal official, may not take any action to reduce, eliminate, or suspend funding for land-grant colleges and universities, unless such reduction, elimination, or suspension is specifically authorized by an Act of Congress.</text> </subsection> <subsection id="H33AF304FD099433C969181203183FDAA"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Land-Grant colleges and universities defined</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In this section, the term <term>land-grant colleges and universities</term> has the meaning given such term in section 1404 of the <short-title>National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977</short-title> (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/7/3103">7 U.S.C. 3103</external-xref>).</text></subsection> </section>
