<section id="HA8A19786C453483DA1BF2D60521895AE" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Law Enforcement Solidarity Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="HB4D33B21F9074D4AAB20042A577CF3CF"><enum>2.</enum><header>Jurisdictions with law enforcement cooperation restrictions ineligible for certain Federal funds</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Beginning in the first fiscal year that begins after the date that is 60 days after the date of enactment of this Act, for a fiscal year during which the Attorney General determines that a jurisdiction is a jurisdiction with law enforcement cooperation restrictions, such jurisdiction is ineligible to receive any Federal funds that such jurisdiction intends to use for the benefit (including the provision of food, shelter, healthcare services, legal services, and transportation) of aliens who are present in the United States without lawful status under the immigration laws. </text></section> 
<section id="H6EDA2AC23A8543FE97B581015AB64043"><enum>3.</enum><header>Report on jurisdiction with law enforcement cooperation restrictions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, and annually thereafter, the Attorney General shall submit to the Committee on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives and the Committee on the Judiciary of the Senate a report that includes a list of each jurisdiction that the Attorney General determines is a jurisdiction with law enforcement cooperation restrictions.</text></section> <section id="H0725E437802D409B87CFF5DF76568154"><enum>4.</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">For purposes of this Act:</text> 
<paragraph id="HAFA34EE50F7A437BA266EEAAB3DD542F"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the term <term>jurisdiction with law enforcement cooperation restrictions</term> means any State or political subdivision of a State that has in effect a statute, ordinance, policy, or practice that prohibits or restricts any government entity or official from assisting, aiding, cooperating with, providing back-up to, or responding to a call made by a Federal law enforcement officer.</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="HF298E9AEA783473D92C88BCFB890941F"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The terms <term>alien</term> and <term>immigration laws</term> have the meanings given such term in section 101 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1101">8 U.S.C. 1101</external-xref>).</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H046B9368FC8A4A3AA204F0E02B2305FD"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <term>Federal law enforcement officer</term> has the meaning given such term in section 115(c)(1) of title 18, United States Code, and includes such an officer employed by the Department of Homeland Security. </text></paragraph></section> </legis-body></bill>
