<section id="HC6917FE837EA49FE9C32BD2E92917294" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Preventing Allocation of Resources for Absurd Defense Expenditures Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>PARADE Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="HF1E3D4ED6FAF42D48145212200E78949"><enum>2.</enum><header>Prohibition on use of funds for certain parades</header> <subsection id="H9EB02B473A5C4BE5AF45F4425AB960B1"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">None of the funds appropriated or otherwise made available for the Department of Defense or for the White House or the Executive Office of the President may be used for a covered parade.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H3EF0B6E8313A41B099CF2DD182BDBBB0"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Covered parade</header><text>In this section, the term <term>covered parade</term> means a parade that—</text> <paragraph id="H0608751C547F4187B1E9FEBA92315B44"><enum>(1)</enum><text>is sponsored by the Department of Defense or by the White House or the Executive Office of the President; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H211941010C4F465682CEBC9D226AE93D"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">is specifically commemorating or paying tribute to the current President. </text></paragraph></subsection></section> </legis-body></bill>
