<section id="H624BEC9EBD0142AD9751F2146C3021CB" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Bank Loan Privacy Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="HD4F4BEECCCFB409BAE923767B16C158F"><enum>2.</enum><header>Rulemaking requirement</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 704B(e)(4) of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/1691c-2">15 U.S.C. 1691c–2(e)(4)</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
<paragraph id="H85A27101065445E5BDDD39809E97EF1F"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking <quote>The Bureau may,</quote> and inserting:</text> <quoted-block style="OLC" id="HF97289569AD545238313B1B6127E3DDE" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <subparagraph id="HC413DD4614564D9FADB09A6813E3D970"><enum>(A)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Bureau may,</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph>
<paragraph id="HCDBB80F906A64FDABE6D49D66C9E862F"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following:</text> <quoted-block style="OLC" id="H5B7E80F50AD34F079E1D5799E9BEE7CC" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <subparagraph id="HC9DCA30A25EF46BFA9B71F50DBB4F9BD"><enum>(B)</enum><header>Rulemaking requirement</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Bureau shall, before deleting or modifying data under this paragraph issue, through advance notice and comment, a rule that includes a description of what modifications and deletions the Bureau intends to make to the data and how such modifications and deletions will advance a privacy interest. </text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></section>
