<section id="HB8BDE1307AF04849BABB67CFD54E97FF" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Middle Class Mortgage Insurance Premium Act of 2025</short-title></quote>. </text></section> <section id="H292B6A9FF82F4468AAAD1C1532C5F06B"><enum>2.</enum><header>Increasing the income cap for and making permanent the mortgage insurance premium deduction</header> <subsection id="H9D2C41D902A14C38B75BDFD8EFCE83D3"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">(1) <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/26/163">Section 163(h)(3)(E)</external-xref> of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H61BF12D7B4E44D8D8E4BBDA84F61F437"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in clause (ii), by striking <quote>$100,000 ($50,000</quote> and inserting <quote>$200,000 ($100,000</quote>, and</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H4AF158E75B1748B3AE1B642DA0BF9493"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking clause (iv). </text></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="H959CD91B81264D378DB7A43C7F88315A"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The amendments made by this Act shall apply to taxable years beginning after December 31, 2025.</text></subsection></section> </legis-body></bill>
