R. 2695</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20250407">April 7, 2025</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="P000620">Ms. Pettersen</sponsor> (for herself and <cosponsor name-id="N000193">Mr. Nunn of Iowa</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HIF00">Committee on Energy and Commerce</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To amend the Public Health Service Act to reauthorize grants for building communities of recovery.</official-title></form><legis-body id="H6451F9233D6E492A99EF5B50FE3400AB" style="OLC"><section id="HEFAFC05878F0422298516EBD29B3790B" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Communities of Recovery Reauthorization Act of 2025</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="HECE57CC26B1540C58FE8C69C235B0C31"><enum>2.</enum><header>Building communities of recovery</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 547(f) of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/290ee-2">42 U.S.C. 290ee–2(f)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>$5,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2019 through 2023</quote> and inserting <quote>$17,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2026 through 2030</quote>. </text></section></legis-body></bill>
