<section section-type="section-one" id="H83DD3CEB92304508848DA41C6411003A"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>No Tax Subsidies for Stadiums Act of 2025</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section commented="no" id="HE52CAC6C701440E481552CCA520190BE"><enum>2.</enum><header>No tax-exempt bonds for professional stadiums</header> <subsection id="H975ECB1A0A4A45C599D922EBBC5C99E8"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/26/103">Section 103(b)</external-xref> of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph:</text>

<paragraph commented="no" id="H7AB883645D6B4FE8AFDDB4D120B8EC43"><enum>(4)</enum><header>Professional stadium bond</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Any professional stadium bond.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection> <subsection id="H1947DE6246E141E483ACB222A4EC6568"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Professional stadium bond defined</header><text>Section 103(c) of such Code is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph:</text>

<paragraph id="H792B0E5EAE6D49BF8A4D40A969A54E4A"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Professional stadium bond</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <quote>professional stadium bond</quote> means any bond issued as part of an issue any proceeds of which are used to finance or refinance capital expenditures allocable to a facility (or appurtenant real property) which, during at least 5 days during any calendar year, is used as a stadium or arena for professional sports exhibitions, games, or training.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection> <subsection id="HF20D8EFE86004B6FAF412FC770B6D1D4"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>The amendments made by this section shall apply to bonds issued after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text></subsection></section>
