<section id="HDDC5D37849114ED9A6963698A1FAB19A" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Brake for Kids Act of 2025</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H8632349332F049BBA9E39644FD278C1E" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>National public safety messaging campaign</header> <subsection id="HC597462969EC4CFA8A197B93CC61FEA4"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Using amounts provided to the Secretary of Transportation under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/117/58">Public Law 117–58</external-xref>), the Secretary shall produce and distribute a national public safety messaging campaign to increase awareness and education about the dangers of illegal passing of stopped school buses.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HAF7B2DF5B468475E85747888AE6DB67C"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Requirements</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In producing and distributing the national public safety messaging campaign under subsection (a), the Secretary shall—</text> <paragraph id="H056F5360161D4B57A111DF5AABAE5D13" commented="no"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">include television advertising and advertising time on key national broadcasts with a wide audience as part of the campaign;</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HD9235E51339240CEA2B85CC2DED206DA" commented="no"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">include radio, social media, and edge service advertising as part of the campaign; and</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H9FDCBF3C6C0F4EE7B4FA51B166318A7F" commented="no"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">ensure that the campaign is not limited to digital downloads or regional distribution. </text></paragraph></subsection></section>
