<section id="H379926D37E264066A6E0DF7C3AFBDD32" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>DHS Intelligence Rotational Assignment Program and Law Enforcement Support Act</short-title></quote>. </text></section> <section id="H996B02F65E2F4804B18C0404644BB446"><enum>2.</enum><header>Department of Homeland Security Intelligence Rotational Assignment Program</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 844 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/6/414">6 U.S.C. 414</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection:</text>

<subsection id="H8C8F3878AC5E4AE3AD127813E6B489D8"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Intelligence rotational assignment program</header>
<paragraph id="HB69CB2954B7940B0B1B8F7A728C6BABE"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Establishment</header><text>Not later than one year after the date of the enactment of this subsection, the Secretary shall establish an Intelligence Rotational Assignment Program as part of the Rotation Program under subsection (a).</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H353C00FCE6904313B112206A0916E3F0"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Eligibility</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Intelligence Rotational Assignment Program shall be open to analysts serving in analyst positions in an intelligence component of the Department, in the Office of Strategic Intelligence and Information of the United States Secret Service, or in other positions in the Department, as determined by the Secretary.</text></paragraph>
<paragraph id="H30F117142DFC4C749A91723DAFC8EA2A"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Coordination</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The responsibilities specified in subsection (a)(3)(B) that apply to the Rotation Program under such subsection shall, as applicable, apply to the Intelligence Rotational Assignment Program under this subsection.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section> </legis-body></bill>
