<section id="H74006909CA2C4DE1B0B9587D5B0FD2AE" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Veteran Appeals Transparency Act of 2025</short-title></quote>. </text></section> <section id="H84051740FF1E4F89881519B476DFE58D"><enum>2.</enum><header>Board of Veterans’ Appeals publication of dates of docket activity</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 7107 of title 38, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection:</text>

<subsection id="HF1015D444D5441C48A304269590F842D"><enum>(f)</enum><header>Publication of expected actions</header>
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H684A3E3559D545C486C399302D3F623D"><enum>(1)</enum><text>On a weekly basis, for each docket, the Board shall publish, on a website of the Department, notice of the docket dates of the cases assigned to a Board member for a decision for that week.</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H67B83B4681884A3FB0E1FAA838D5543D" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Each notice published under paragraph (1) shall include a statement that an assignment described in such paragraph does not require the Board to issue a decision regarding the case during such week.</text></paragraph>
<paragraph id="H36997984967248AE92E254EEC76A6AC5" indent="up1"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Paragraph (1) shall not apply to a case—</text> <subparagraph id="H4079F50B558148F88060ADAC88793345"><enum>(A)</enum><text>that has been advanced under subsection (b); or</text></subparagraph>
<subparagraph id="HA8885813C0554EA1BE3B376B7AAE44D9"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">remanded by the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.</text></subparagraph></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section> </legis-body></bill>
