R. 1714</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20250227">February 27, 2025</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="L000603">Mr. Luttrell</sponsor> introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HJU00">Committee on the Judiciary</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to submit a report to Congress on crimes committed by individuals granted parole under the Immigration and Nationality Act.</official-title></form><legis-body id="HB05BC03C03D74FB7B83D39BE188857B1" style="OLC"><section id="H6E11BBE450384C58A1AE5AE712EF0391" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Criminal Illegal Alien Report Act</short-title></quote>. </text></section><section id="H9120D258F9EE4A1A98D84F20DB0C2A2E"><enum>2.</enum><header>Report on crimes committed by recipients of parole under the Immigration and Nationality Act</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline"> Not later than 60 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Homeland Security shall submit to Congress a report on number of individuals who are present in the United States pursuant to a grant of parole under the Processes for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans or any other grant of parole under section 212(d)(5) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1182">8 U.S.C. 1182(d)(5)</external-xref>) who have committed crimes in the United States, including the nationalities of such individuals, and any ties of such individuals to terrorists and transnational criminal groups. </text></section></legis-body></bill>
