<section id="HC5404C341F35491E89E8940E28703A62" section-type="section-one" commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>1.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Guarding Readiness Resources Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H86E720BF3A064AB3913878A6E9B32542" commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Treatment of funds received by National Guard Bureau as reimbursement from States</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 710 of title 32, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection:</text>

<subsection id="H1938ADFAE85C4ADCB286F08CE655F253" commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>(g)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Treatment of reimbursed funds</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Any funds received by the National Guard Bureau from a State, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, Guam, or the Virgin Islands as reimbursement under this section for the use of military property—</text> <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H25699957C0DE4B4BA878BA09E01CB212"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">shall be credited to—</text>
<subparagraph id="H75B6FA071FE245659CE43D3C74A6E483" commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the appropriation, fund, or account used in incurring the obligation; or</text></subparagraph> <subparagraph id="H5C0785B50C64475EBCA9DAC1B1946A72" commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">an appropriate appropriation, fund, or account currently available for the purposes for which the expenditures were made; and</text></subparagraph></paragraph>
<paragraph id="H6003855B7D6440C381225A4001EE0CB0" commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">may only be used by the Department of Defense for the repair, maintenance, replacement, or other similar functions related directly to assets used by National Guard units while operating under State active duty status.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block display="yes">.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section> </legis-body></bill>
