<official-title display="yes">To provide that the Federal Reports Elimination and Sunset Act of 1995 does not apply to certain reports required to be submitted by the Tennessee Valley Authority, and for other purposes.</official-title>

<section id="H92772330397C48FBB26F23A38D5F5228" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Tennessee Valley Authority Salary Transparency Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="HFA726E3FE3F04CE89DF8064A55706935" display-inline="no-display-inline" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Salary disclosure; exception to report elimination</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 9 of the Tennessee Valley Authority Act of 1933 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/831h">16 U.S.C. 831h</external-xref>) is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H228FF6B5CE5C4625BAB5CB90A31E935B"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection (a), by striking <quote>a financial statement</quote> and all that follows through <quote>$1,500 a year</quote> and inserting <quote>a report of the total number of employees at the management level or above, to include all executives and board members, that shall include the names, salaries, and duties of such employees, that are receiving compensation at or greater than the maximum rate of basic pay for grade GS–15 of the General Schedule</quote>;</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H720B8D404BAB4D049E1890AE86A2DD42"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking all that precedes <quote>The Board shall</quote> and inserting the following:</text>

<subsection id="H668C139D6E42459FB376A6AF4A0F6167"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Report on compensation</header> 
<paragraph id="H7D7B5657BF7B4AAC8E3323BE327B144B"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header></paragraph></subsection></section><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H88C64D2F8F954518B365DDA336FACD6D"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in subsection (a), by adding at the end the following: </text> <quoted-block style="OLC" id="H060223E9A07F4EC0A49497447AF55B27" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <paragraph id="H2380ED26E2E8490E945EF5730AC8C61D"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Exemption</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The information concerning salaries of employees of the Corporation contained in, or filed with, the report described in paragraph (1) is exempt from—</text> 
<subparagraph id="H8825636C2F314DCC9F8B8B3855883DFB"><enum>(A)</enum><text>disclosure under section 552(b)(3) of title 5, United States Code; and</text></subparagraph> <subparagraph id="H60F7C99CF85546A29D6240F4300FF08B"><enum>(B)</enum><text>the requirements of the Access to Congressionally Mandated Reports Act (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/117/263">Public Law 117–263</external-xref>).</text></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></section>
