Jackson</italic> decision on June 24, 2022.</official-title></form><legis-body><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ide5a09459f49a491680b0c3877672390d" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Reproductive Freedom for Women Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id86a4a8f41e3a4925a2fca6fae5fc237f" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Sense of Congress</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">It is the sense of Congress that—</text><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idc091014c6e9c42019d09f1ac33e38be5"><enum>(1)</enum><text>protections for access to abortion rights and other reproductive health care after the <italic>Dobbs v. Jackson</italic>, 597 U.S. 215 (2022) decision on June 24, 2022, should be supported; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="ide7f42a21d2d546e0a1ce3324222cbcab" commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the protections enshrined in<italic> Roe v. Wade</italic>, 410 U.S. 113 <italic></italic>(1973) should be restored and built upon, moving towards a future where there is reproductive freedom for all. </text></paragraph></section></legis-body><endorsement><action-date date="20240618">June 18, 2024</action-date><action-desc>Read the second time and placed on the calendar</action-desc></endorsement></bill>
