Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/43/1629g-1">43 U.S.C. 1629g–1(b)(3)(B)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>5-year period</quote> and inserting <quote>10-year period</quote>.</text></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" section-type="subsequent-section" id="id114120dc242e46ff89cb8a26a6a1091d"><enum>3.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Making additional land available for selection under the Alaska Native Vietnam era veterans land allotment program</header><subsection id="idaf0e6ea21c8a4492bc816e3c7b304f8f"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Wildlife refuge system land</header><text>All Federal land identified as suitable for allotment selection in the report under subsection (c)(1) of section 1119 of the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/43/1629g-1">43 U.S.C. 1629g–1</external-xref>), and published by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service in the report entitled <quote>Identification of National Wildlife Refuge System Lands in Alaska That Should Be Made Available for Allotment Selection by Eligible Alaska Native Vietnam Era Veterans</quote> (November 2020), shall be made immediately available by the Secretary of the Interior for selection in accordance with that section.</text></subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id229924e358344d78a0a82c3078b30c34"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Federal land managed by the Forest Service</header><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idd92d06006bdf49198ef851d1d8a45449"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Definition of available Federal land</header><text>Section 1119(a)(1)(B) of the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/43/1629g-1">43 U.S.C. 1629g–1(a)(1)(B)</external-xref>) is amended—</text><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idd64198ae47924f6785c40469b5202b2f"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking clause (v); and</text></subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id60711e3148db44218e890d902026d4e9"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by redesignating clauses (vi) through (x) as clauses (v) through (ix), respectively.</text></subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id90a46f01038147508ad8db7403e72552"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Identification of Federal land</header><text>Section 1119 of the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/43/1629g-1">43 U.S.C. 1629g–1</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text><quoted-block style="OLC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idD3FD79E41FA748738B2786A7D1FC1EBB"><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id9346032b75ab43faad8b2f60e6a1cb6f"><enum>(e)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Identification of Federal land administered by the Forest Service</header><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id153b273eee8c4d58959133b0043074f3"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this subsection, the Secretary of Agriculture, in consultation with the Secretary, the State, Regional Corporations, and Village Corporations, shall identify available Federal land within units of the National Forest System in the State that should be made available for allotment selection by eligible individuals.</text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ida925f5872041433eabbb5560574fa9fc"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Exclusions</header><text>In identifying available Federal land within units of the National Forest System in the State that should be made available for allotment selection under paragraph (1), the Secretary shall not identify any available Federal land in a unit of the National Forest System—</text><subparagraph id="id56e2dc990e7f437b96cf01758a0c48fa"><enum>(A)</enum><text>the conveyance of which, independently or as part of a group of allotments, could—</text><clause commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id238cad7ac3e24601bf48083e80d6b0da"><enum>(i)</enum><text>significantly interfere with biological, physical, cultural, scenic, recreational, or subsistence values; or</text></clause><clause commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id52831ec6d93847409bd892ecc6148415"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>interfere with the management plan of the unit;</text></clause></subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idd621d6486cf840a1b605689d3c0dc4c2"><enum>(B)</enum><text>that is located within 300 feet from the shore of a navigable body of water;</text></subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id21d70a4548554576a1e9e00fba108dcb"><enum>(C)</enum><text>that is not consistent with the purposes for which the unit was established; or</text></subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idf3ec1281153043e3a4a6388a6b335712"><enum>(D)</enum><text>that is designated by Congress as wilderness.</text></subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="idcab0f1001364463ab0b9ed393b02c73c"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Availability of land</header><text>All available Federal land identified as suitable for allotment selection under this subsection shall be made immediately available for selection in accordance with this section.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
