Short title

This Act may be cited as the Modernizing the Veterans On-Campus Experience Act of 2024.

Department of Veterans Affairs on-campus educational and vocational counseling

Section 3697B(a) of title 38, United States Code, is amended— (1)by inserting (1) before The Secretary; (2)by striking employees of the Department who provide such services under section 3697A of this title. and inserting an employee of the Department who holds a bachelors degree or a more advanced degree in a relevant field of study.; and (3)by adding at the end the following new paragraph: (2)An employee of the Department who provides counseling services under this section— (A)may provide such services on the campuses of more than one institution of higher learning; and (B)may not provide such services to more than a total of 25 individuals at any one time..
