Short title

This Act may be cited as the Contacting All Local Legislators Act or the CALL Act.

Notification of elected officials prior to refugee resettlement

Section 412(a)(2)(D) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1522(a)(2)(D)) is amended—(1)by striking shall, consistent and inserting the following: shall—(i)consistent; (2)by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and; and(3)by adding at the end the following: (ii)prior to making such a placement, notify the Senators representing the State, the Member of the House of Representatives representing the district of the placement within the State, and the applicable State legislative elected officials. .
