Short title

This Act may be cited as the Enhancing Intelligence Collection on Foreign Drug Traffickers Act of 2024.

Inclusion of counternarcotics in definition of foreign intelligence

Section 101(e)(1) of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 (50 U.S.C. 1801) is amended—(1)in subparagraph (B), by striking ; or and inserting a semicolon; and(2)by adding at the end the following new subparagraph:(D)international production, distribution, or financing of illicit synthetic drugs, opioids, cocaine, or other drugs driving overdose deaths, or precursors of any aforementioned; or.
