Short title

This Act may be cited as the Veterans Congressional Work Study Act of 2024.

Authorized activities in certain congressional offices using Department of Veterans Affairs work-study allowance

Section 3485(a)(5) of title 38, United States Code, is amended—(1)in subparagraph (K), by inserting or at the offices of a committee of the Senate or House of Representatives on behalf of such committee after such Members; and (2)by adding at the end the following new subparagraph:(L)Activities supporting casework, policy making, and oversight related to the activities of the Department carried out at the offices of a committee of the Senate or House of Representatives, the Congressional Research Service, the Government Accountability Office, or the Congressional Budget Office..
