<section id="H84A9E4C7B38E48F6A9B157EAD805213E" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Funding Small Businesses During Shutdown Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H38E17274759749C7B96212CC8EDE458E" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Continuation of certain Small Business Administration programs during a Government shutdown</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">There are appropriated for fiscal year 2024, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, during any period of a lapse in discretionary appropriations with respect to the Small Business Administration during such fiscal year beginning on or after the date of the enactment of this section, for any 30-day period of such lapse (and on a pro-rated basis if such lapse is less than 30 days) to pay for the salaries and expenses necessary to continue servicing any loans made under—</text> 
<paragraph id="HE2FCB8C1CA274722BC48D0126946E1C7"><enum>(1)</enum><text>$500,000 for loans made under subsection (m) of section 7 of the Small Business Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/636">15 U.S.C. 636(m)</external-xref>);</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H17080166BE5F4359B34671E954F200B2"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">$2,916,666,667 for loans made under subsection (a) of section 7 of the Small Business Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/636">15 U.S.C. 636(a)</external-xref>);</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H4422344A999A4031BF985917AE122FC7"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">$1,250,000,000 for loans made under title V of the Small Business Investment Act of 1958 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/695">15 U.S.C. 695 et seq.</external-xref>); and</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H7BC6E2EB6DDD4884802B110E18D69D60"><enum>(4)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">$13,775,000 for administrative expenses to carry out the loan program under subsection (m) of section 7 of the Small Business Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/636">15 U.S.C. 636(m)</external-xref>).</text></paragraph> </section>
