<section id="HA993BA8C568343A48F96C053E63A13CC" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Combating Money Laundering in Cyber Crime Act of 2024</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H909187942D1942C88DDA6510D976FF32"><enum>2.</enum><header>Expansion of United States Secret Services investigative authorities</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 3056(b) of title 18, United States Code, is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="HE9E9749D5B7845358DA100DDE77345CE"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (1), by striking <quote>or 879</quote> and inserting <quote>879, or 1960</quote>; and</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H59819C66D98C4FE2B6B5AFE3C313E709"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in paragraph (2), by striking <quote>or</quote> at the end;</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H6B10A0D80F274FFE87F08E38D074A627"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in paragraph (3)—</text> <subparagraph id="H0FB5AF53198E40E284CDDFD58DF0EC74"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking <quote>federally insured</quote>;</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="H8737306D561C440995CA2E13784F2469"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by inserting <quote>(as such term is defined in section 5312 of title 31)</quote> after <quote>institution</quote>; and</text></subparagraph> <subparagraph id="HDCE05B2090A346A6BCEFEB744F3D5D92"><enum>(C)</enum><text>by striking the period at the end and inserting <quote>; or</quote>; and</text></subparagraph></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H9CEEE66534C6455AB06A2FCCC2BFFCE9"><enum>(4)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following:</text> <quoted-block style="USC" id="H093F044D5E6642019694BEFAED826BF1" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <paragraph id="H51193D8A53B444948E037E01F95E2616"><enum>(4)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">section 5324 of title 31, except that the authority conferred by this paragraph shall be exercised subject to the agreement of the Attorney General and the Secretary of Homeland Security and shall not affect the authority of any other Federal law enforcement agency with respect to those laws.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></section> 
<section id="HD29B520333FC4AE692FA5A65FEFD7DF7"><enum>3.</enum><header>FinCEN Exchange</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 310(d)(3)(A) of title 31, United States Code, is amended by striking <quote>next 5 years</quote> and inserting <quote>next 10 years</quote>.</text></section> <section id="H97FBDCAE5E104B0380CB02B96FF5C037"><enum>4.</enum><header>International financial institutions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 7125(b) of division F of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/22/262p-13">22 U.S.C. 262p-13</external-xref> note; <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/116/92">Public Law 116–92</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>6</quote> and inserting <quote>10</quote>.</text></section>
