Short title

This Act may be cited as the Blue Ridge Fire Safety Act.

Licenses or permits to owners of adjacent lands

Section 2 of the Act of Congress approved June 8, 1940, entitled To amend the Act of June 30, 1936 (49 Stat. 2041), providing for the administration and maintenance of the Blue Ridge Parkway, in the States of Virginia and North Carolina, by the Secretary of the Interior, and for other purposes. is amended—(1)by striking may issue and inserting the following: (1)may issue; and(2)by adding at the end the following: (2)shall issue at least 1 emergency permit for emergency use..
