R. 6960</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20240111">January 11, 2024</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="C001103">Mr. Carter of Georgia</sponsor> (for himself, <cosponsor name-id="C001066">Ms. Castor of Florida</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="J000302">Mr. Joyce of Pennsylvania</cosponsor>, and <cosponsor name-id="S001216">Ms. Schrier</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HIF00">Committee on Energy and Commerce</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To amend the Public Health Service Act to reauthorize the Emergency Medical Services for Children program.</official-title></form><legis-body id="H7726D7F6F72F4CC4B5E25FF40774C04E" style="OLC"><section id="H04E7AB8BCA78466BB881146DA211EBC8" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Emergency Medical Services for Children Reauthorization Act of 2024</short-title></quote>. </text></section><section id="H3774028C35AA402E976F205A452DBF30"><enum>2.</enum><header>Reauthorization of grants for emergency medical services for children</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1910(d) of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/300w-9">42 U.S.C. 300w–9(d)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>and $22,334,000 for each of fiscal years 2020 through 2024</quote> and inserting <quote>$22,334,000 for each of fiscal years 2020 through 2024, and $24,334,000 for each of fiscal years 2025 through 2029</quote>.</text></section></legis-body></bill>
