<section id="HA9C29DB6AFF840C8BFC11CF5A0A7CDCF" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Wildlife Innovation and Longevity Driver reauthorization Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>WILD Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H4CB86087959B4D618C6A24F890848D9C"><enum>2.</enum><header>Partners for Fish and Wildlife Act</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 5 of the Partners for Fish and Wildlife Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/3774">16 U.S.C. 3774</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>2019 through 2023</quote> and inserting <quote>2024 through 2028</quote>.</text></section>

<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H7C7C2D78AC10491F8F306BF0770E0027"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Provision of assistance</header><text>Section 2101 of the African Elephant Conservation Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/4211">16 U.S.C. 4211</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text> <quoted-block style="OLC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H8C00E8C2FF084AA5B942A8962C821494"> <subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H742F82DBBF76437A9CE1C40888AC1A4F"><enum>(g)</enum><header>Multiyear grants</header> <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H5E0CE0A57B504B9CAA89EB07A4265A79"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Authorization</header><text>The Secretary may award to a person who is otherwise eligible for a grant under this section a multiyear grant of up to 5 years to carry out a project that the person demonstrates is an effective, long-term conservation strategy for African elephants and the habitat of African elephants.</text></paragraph>

<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H6175447BF582403888B09741270A15DA"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Asian elephant conservation assistance</header><text>Section 5 of the Asian Elephant Conservation Act of 1997 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/4264">16 U.S.C. 4264</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text> <quoted-block style="OLC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HA2A75FFF50294698BC2611C058E79048"> <subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H84B4D2A54BAC42FE9FA8448D9811D69F"><enum>(i)</enum><header>Multiyear grants</header> <paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H21AFF86A69F84445B6AC8A2DEE9A4305"><enum>(1)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Authorization</header><text>The Secretary may award to a person who is otherwise eligible for a grant under this section a multiyear grant of up to 5 years to carry out a project that the person demonstrates is an effective, long-term conservation strategy for Asian elephants and the habitat of Asian elephants.</text></paragraph>

<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H8BF8F902C0314102A7ECA9557434372F"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Multiyear grants</header><text>Section 4(j)(1) of the Great Ape Conservation Act of 2000 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/6303">16 U.S.C. 6303(j)(1)</external-xref>) is amended by inserting <quote>of up to 5 years</quote> after <quote>multiyear grant</quote>.</text></subsection> <subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H0D01F9E24D0B471DB5B4ABB10CE3C73E"><enum>(b)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Authorization of appropriations</header><text>Section 6 of the Great Ape Conservation Act of 2000 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/6305">16 U.S.C. 6305</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>2019 through 2023</quote> and inserting <quote>2024 through 2028</quote>.</text></subsection></section>
