Elimination of requirements concerning the Republic of Cyprus

(a)

Elimination of limitations and exclusions regarding defense articles

Section 1250A of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020 (22 U.S.C. 2373 note) is amended—(1)in the heading, by striking Repeal of prohibition on and inserting Sense of Congress regarding; (2)in subsection (a), by striking (a) Sense of Congress.—It is the sense of Congress that— and inserting the following:It is the sense of Congress that— ; and(3)by striking subsections (b), (c), and (d).(b)

Elimination of requirements regarding security assistance and certain sales

Section 620C of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 (22 U.S.C. 2373) is amended by striking subsections (d) and (e).
