<section id="HFB387E0D571742F08CA6543D96894135" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Affordable Housing Over Mandating Efficiency Standards Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>Affordable HOMES Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="HBCD040EA922E408297532913E12D088E"><enum>2.</enum><header>Repeal of authority to establish standards for manufactured housing</header> <subsection id="H4B5FF0A32A8F4C3AA2EC8638F58B7AF1"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Repeal</header> <paragraph id="H10AB8C4E3CEE478B9FDBAF16FC24C1EF"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>The Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/17071">42 U.S.C. 17071</external-xref>) is amended by striking section 413.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H47C05DA3CD7D49759AD973DBFDAEC319"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Clerical amendment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The table of contents in section 1(b) of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 is amended by striking the item relating to section 413.</text></paragraph></subsection> <subsection id="H732F5443636848CFBF0759A92B87210A"><enum>(b)</enum><header>No force or effect</header><text>The final rule titled <quote>Energy Conservation Program: Energy Conservation Standards for Manufactured Housing</quote> published by the Department of Energy in the Federal Register on May 31, 2022 (87 Fed. Reg. 32728), shall have no force or effect.</text> </subsection></section>
