<section id="H40FC737463254C93B08470D9E339DE5E" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Combatting Human-Trafficking of Innocent Lives Daily Act of 2023</short-title></quote> or the <quote>CHILD Act of 2023</quote>.</text></section> <section id="HDC124417E0FB4CE4AD259161C4656F29"><enum>2.</enum><header>Raise mandatory minimum of years of imprisonment for engaging in trafficking of any persons under age of 18</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1591(b) of title 18, United States Code, is amended to read as follows: </text>

<subsection id="H85E80FFA8C16481898DB1C2C91DBE481"><enum>(b)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The punishment for an offense under subsection (a) is a fine under this title and imprisonment for not less than 25 years or for life. </text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </section> </legis-body></bill>
