Short title

This Act may be cited as the Disaster Mitigation through Military Service Act.

Definition of humanitarian and civic assistance

Section 401(e)(4) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting before the period at the end the following: or the hardening of existing infrastructure in such facilities in support of disaster mitigation.
