<section id="HC7CDC9F2A1AB42A180DF675FC3471D2E" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Helen Keller National Center Reauthorization Act of 2023</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H0AFACE4E89064106926B063129ABA5EE"><enum>2.</enum><header>Amendments to the Helen Keller National Center Act</header> <subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HC7B5D81E6F6043469D55E1C40A0883E7"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Authorization of appropriations</header><text>Section 205(a) of the Helen Keller National Center Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/20/1904">20 U.S.C. 1904(a)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>fiscal years 1999 through 2003</quote> and inserting <quote>fiscal years 2024 through 2028</quote>.</text></subsection>
<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HA8FC37512B5B48A5939745FD11C0B0B2"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Definitions</header><text>Section 206(2)(B) of the Helen Keller National Center Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/1905">29 U.S.C. 1905(2)(B)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>or obtaining vocational objectives</quote> and inserting <quote>or obtaining competitive integrated employment (as defined in section 3 of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/3102">29 U.S.C. 3102</external-xref>))</quote>.</text></subsection> <subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H80A3B851665943D7A034547AC66CC796"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Construction of Act; effect on agreements</header><text>Section 207 of the Helen Keller National Center Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/1906">29 U.S.C. 1906</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>the Helen Keller Services for the Blind, Incorporated</quote> and inserting <quote>Helen Keller Services</quote>.</text></subsection>
<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HFA7F9CC98F52464A81051C5575888ADD"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Helen Keller National Center Federal Endowment Program</header><text>Section 208(h) of the Helen Keller National Center Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/1907">29 U.S.C. 1907(h)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>fiscal years 1999 through 2003</quote> and inserting <quote>fiscal years 2024 through 2028</quote>.</text></subsection></section> </legis-body></bill>
