<section id="HDB6787AE46874470827C1077FDD541DA" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Promoting Health Careers in Community and Technical Colleges Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H68E54319BA174655B52742C15BEF072D"><enum>2.</enum><header>Health professions opportunity demonstration project grantees required to train project participants to earn a recognized postsecondary credential</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 2008 of the Social Security Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/1397g">42 U.S.C. 1397g</external-xref>) is amended by redesignating subsections (c) and (d) as subsections (d) and (e), respectively, and by inserting after subsection (b) the following:</text>

<subsection id="H4F2E9AE13B96409A869166422D8908FF"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Grantees required To train project participants To earn a recognized postsecondary credential</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">An eligible entity awarded a grant to conduct a demonstration project under this section shall train project participants to earn a recognized postsecondary credential, including an industry-recognized credential.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section> <section id="HF2D24920FF4449F38E4788AE42541244"><enum>3.</enum><header>Eligibility of community colleges for grants to conduct health professions opportunity demonstration projects</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 2008(a)(4)(D) of the Social Security Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/1397g">42 U.S.C. 1397g(a)(4)(D)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>section 101</quote> and inserting <quote>sections 101 and 102(a)(1)(B)</quote>.</text></section>
