Short title

This Act may be cited as the Integrating Social Workers Across Health Care Settings Act.

Clinical social worker services defined

(a)

In general

Section 1861(hh)(2) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395x(hh)(2)) is amended— (1)by inserting (and services and supplies furnished as an incident to such services) before performed by; and (2)by striking for the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses. (b)

Effective date

The amendments made by subsection (a) shall apply with respect to services furnished on or after December 1, 2024.
