<section section-type="section-one" id="HA6974E3E84C34B17908CB5059301AAD5"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Moving Americans Privacy Protection Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="HCCD21C7CA8EB43AF94CD3625BB0957BC"><enum>2.</enum><header>Protection of personally identifiable information</header> <subsection id="H2D340051E276475089A0B38F068F03E0"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Paragraph (2) of section 431(c) of the Tariff Act of 1930 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/19/1431">19 U.S.C. 1431(c)</external-xref>) is amended to read as follows:</text> 
<quoted-block style="OLC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HD57B7A863117417B800F28C59F91C75D"> 
<paragraph id="HE5E8D26B9ADF49149FD90E4A4F77AC7A" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum> 
<subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="HE8A8E7F40FF8477C883FA1F332AD7D60"><enum>(A)</enum><text>The information listed in paragraph (1) shall not be available for public disclosure if—</text> <clause id="H329A410FF4864736974FD3E20A944D79" indent="up1"><enum>(i)</enum><text>the Secretary of the Treasury makes an affirmative finding on a shipment-by-shipment basis that disclosure is likely to pose a threat of personal injury or property damage; or</text></clause> 
<clause id="H8FFA0F12F0824FC78C617729BF9808BC" indent="up1"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>the information is exempt under the provisions of section 552(b)(1) of title 5, United States Code.</text></clause></subparagraph> <subparagraph id="H81AF0025523749BFADCA640C34B6D993" indent="up1"><enum>(B)</enum><text>The Secretary shall ensure that any personally identifiable information, including Social Security numbers and passport numbers, is removed from any manifest signed, produced, delivered, or electronically transmitted under this section before access to the manifest is provided to the public.</text></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection>
