RES. 102</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20231115">November 15, 2023</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="O000173">Ms. Omar</sponsor> (for herself, <cosponsor name-id="T000481">Ms. Tlaib</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="B001224">Ms. Bush</cosponsor>, <cosponsor name-id="R000617">Mrs. Ramirez</cosponsor>, and <cosponsor name-id="L000602">Ms. Lee of Pennsylvania</cosponsor>) submitted the following joint resolution; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HFA00">Committee on Foreign Affairs</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>JOINT RESOLUTION</legis-type><official-title display="yes">Providing for congressional disapproval of the issuance of a license to export with respect to the proposed export of defense articles, including technical data, and defense services to the Government of Israel.</official-title></form><resolution-body style="traditional" id="HD6761819A00D444E8BAC1B7D6F0B9178"><section display-inline="yes-display-inline" section-type="undesignated-section" id="HB7419F3A6F5C421B9B89497D7DC9ED15"><enum/><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">That the issuance of a license to export with respect to the following proposed export to the Government of Israel is hereby prohibited:</text><paragraph id="H2C438F7778E046E2A36036F1816A4E42"><enum>(1)</enum><text>The transfer to Israel of the following defense articles, including technical data and defense services, described in the certification Transmittal No. DDTC 23–023, sent to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the chairmen of the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate and the Committee of Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives pursuant to subsection (c) of section 36 of the Arms Export Control Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/22/2776">22 U.S.C. 2776</external-xref>) on October 31, 2023: defense articles, including technical data, and defense services to support procurement, inspection, assembly, testing, and shipment of Spice Family Gliding Bomb Assemblies for end-use by the Ministry of Defense for Israel. </text></paragraph></section></resolution-body></resolution>
