R. 3431</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20210520">May 20, 2021</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="P000614">Mr. Pappas</sponsor> (for himself and <cosponsor name-id="W000806">Mr. Webster of Florida</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HII00">Committee on Natural Resources</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To require the Secretary of Commerce, acting through the Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, to establish a website providing information about grants available to assist State, Tribal, and local governments with climate resiliency, adaptation and mitigation, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body id="H8D4A134AD8BB495A92475329C79BD6BF" style="OLC"><section id="HB40D01E542A4495DBC6BAC5364D8A29A" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be referred to as the <quote><short-title>Increasing Community Access to Resiliency Grants Act of 2021</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="H1D8799CDD77A472D93BDCEA4848E75AD"><enum>2.</enum><header>Centralized website for resiliency grants</header><subsection id="H1923FA89F45348E69259339972B2991B"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this subsection, the Administrator shall establish and regularly update a publicly available website that includes—</text><paragraph id="H357E0DD62206400ABB65F4E3979EA84F"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">hyperlinks to all grants administered by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and hyperlinks to other Federal agencies that offer similar grants to assist State, Tribal, and local governments with resiliency, adaptation, and mitigation of climate change and sea level rise; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="HDA4B91656F8D43BF8885EEA0661CEA69"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">with respect to each such grant, the contact information for an individual who can offer assistance to State, Tribal, and local governments.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HD3745435290A4D3FB43426ECF7CB8220"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Outreach</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Administrator shall conduct outreach activities to inform State, Tribal, and local governments of the resiliency, adaptation, and mitigation grants.</text></subsection><subsection id="H57AE4645491C452BB727A0A6D48682CB"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Administrator</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In this section, the term <quote>Administrator</quote> means the Secretary of Commerce acting through the Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.</text></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
