<section id="H83C6800C87CF431DB128511011B7DEF1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Teach Relevant Apprenticeships to Drive Economic Success Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>TRADES Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H942F24BB2A6146B4BC7A9868051060A9"><enum>2.</enum><header>Legal effect</header> <subsection id="HB1A837BD59914DEC92AD850689D66879"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The provisions of part 29 of title 29, Code of Federal Regulations, relating to industry-recognized apprenticeship programs, as amended by the final regulations entitled <quote>Apprenticeship Programs, Labor Standards for Registration, Amendment of Regulations</quote> published by the Department of Labor in the Federal Register on March 11, 2020 (85 Fed. Reg. 14294 et seq.) shall have the force and effect of enacted law.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HBA661EFC0BE94C9B820E095732D724B6"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Funding</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Amounts appropriated to carry out the Act of August 16, 1937 (commonly known as the <quote>National Apprenticeship Act</quote>; 50 Stat. 664, chapter 663; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/50">29 U.S.C. 50</external-xref> et seq.) shall also be made available to carry out the provisions described in subsection (a).</text></subsection></section> </legis-body></bill>
