and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="H92D6BEE7712E4F5E8AC39A422C68CC3C"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in subsection (h), by adding at the end the following:</text><quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H56A52CC2F5CD42CFA5A5BD0C595DE5F4" style="OLC" changed="added" reported-display-style="italic" committee-id="HBA00"><paragraph id="HBD7631A228E24740AFA47008959E6B32"><enum>(7)</enum><header>LGBTQ-owned business</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <term>LGBTQ-owned business</term> means a business—</text><subparagraph id="H92AF32931A10400FAD8818B44F1432E8"><enum>(A)</enum><text>more than 50 percent of the ownership or control of which is held by 1 or more individuals self-identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer; and</text></subparagraph><subparagraph id="H5EBFF58954B546E3A65024D1F09BAA02"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">more than 50 percent of the net profit or loss of which accrues to 1 or more individuals self-identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer.</text></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H54642AFEFF864B92B2449DEA86B8B7FA"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Sense of Congress</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">It is the sense of the Congress that the term <quote>sex</quote>, as used within the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, includes an individual’s sexual orientation and gender identity, and that this Act, in part, clarifies that the sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity of the principal owners of a business should be collected under section 704B of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act as three separate forms of information.</text></subsection></section></legis-body><endorsement display="yes"><action-date>June 17, 2021</action-date><action-desc>Reported with an amendment, committed to the Committee of the Whole House on the State of the Union, and ordered to be printed</action-desc></endorsement></bill>
