 <section id="H59B05B367D4C4DC787F0E098F8CE1727" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Trigger lead prohibition</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 604(c) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/1681b">15 U.S.C. 1681b(c)</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H554A4BF80D70466FB81BFC7433659C50" style="OLC">
 <paragraph id="HCF86201311AC4EE5B53DED42AA9ACDFB"><enum>(4)</enum><header>Prohibition on trigger leads for residential mortgage loans</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding paragraph (1), no consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report in connection with a credit transaction that is not initiated by a consumer, if the report is being procured based in whole or in part on the presence of an inquiry made in connection with a residential mortgage loan (as defined under section 103 of the Truth in Lending Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/1602">15 U.S.C. 1602</external-xref>)).</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
