			 and to extend the trail into Vermont to connect with the Appalachian
			 National Scenic Trail, and for other purposes.</official-title></form>
	<legis-body display-enacting-clause="yes-display-enacting-clause" id="H64205E0217784D4295FC9DBA4A80C172" style="OLC">
 <section id="H6148752A2D47498D91D75F26B6476907" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>North Country National Scenic Trail Route Adjustment Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="H696D2FE107544252A0A35754E812209D"><enum>2.</enum><header>Route adjustment</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 5(a)(8) of the National Trails System Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/1244">16 U.S.C. 1244(a)(8)</external-xref>) is amended in the first sentence—</text>
 <paragraph id="H7A812FB677344363A0D40462DCC4EDD6"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking <quote>thirty two hundred miles, extending from eastern New York State</quote> and inserting <quote>4,600 miles, extending from the Appalachian Trail in Vermont</quote>; and</text> </paragraph><paragraph id="HBE21639009D0491A8EF81763C2F336E5"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking <quote>Proposed North Country Trail</quote> and all that follows through <quote>June 1975.</quote> and inserting <quote><quote>North Country National Scenic Trail, Authorized Route</quote> dated February 2014, and numbered 649/116870.</quote>.</text></paragraph></section></legis-body></bill>
