			 Administration, and for other purposes.</official-title></form>
	<legis-body display-enacting-clause="yes-display-enacting-clause">
 <section id="idC6F62A594722458680F41DCCCAFB928D" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Preventing SBA Assistance from Going to China Act of 2019</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="idA5EB984AED624363838C57B25E006C93" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Prohibition on affiliation with the People's Republic of China</header> <subsection id="idD3BEE47CB10045EF873B30447CC435A3"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Section 3(a) of the Small Business Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/632">15 U.S.C. 632(a)</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idE26ECDFD7294416087B5BBD8D261B79F" style="OLC">
 <paragraph id="id360C22A5275D4A36968947562536E80D"><enum>(10)</enum><header>Prohibition on affiliation with the People's Republic of China</header><text>For purposes of this Act, a small business concern may not—</text> <subparagraph id="idE5E71DA78F4548558C9187C75AEF8F63"><enum>(A)</enum><text>be headquarted in the People's Republic of China; or</text>
 </subparagraph><subparagraph id="id412A5C2AFA4E4618A436C4FC50F34736"><enum>(B)</enum><text>have more than 25 percent of the voting stock of the small business concern owned by affiliates that are citizens of the People's Republic of China.</text></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
 </subsection><subsection id="idEE82BF4C3836420BB42758DB5BEE3FEA"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Regulations and guidance</header><text>The Administrator of the Small Business Administration shall amend the regulations and guidance of the Administration, including sections 120.100, 120.110, and 121.105 of title 13, Code of Federal Regulations, to carry out the amendment made by this Act.</text></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
