 <section id="HF9BA4D0125AD48D48BD6272472F64F30" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Small Business Tax Equity Act of 2019</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="H2D38F14B4EBB427EB5846786AB065A36" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Allowance of deductions and credits relating to expenditures in connection with marijuana sales conducted in compliance with State law</header> <subsection id="HA9C91F0CCB8A47FC82659E6DE8DB0466"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/26/280E">Section 280E</external-xref> of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended by inserting before the period at the end the following: <quote>, unless such trade or business consists of marijuana sales conducted in compliance with State law</quote>.</text>
 </subsection><subsection id="H44802557C6DD4FAD805D8532A28B8D3D"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>The amendment made by this section shall apply with respect to taxable years ending after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
