			 should be protected for use by those who celebrate Christmas.</official-title></form>
	<preamble>
 <whereas><text>Whereas Christmas is a national holiday celebrated on December 25; and</text> </whereas><whereas><text>Whereas the Framers intended that the First Amendment to the Constitution, in prohibiting the establishment of religion, would not prohibit any mention of religion or reference to God in civic dialogue: Now, therefore, be it</text></whereas></preamble>

 <section display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H9A5A33639F304636A36981189BE85876" section-type="undesignated-section"><enum></enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">That the House of Representatives—</text> <paragraph id="HAED65F70823A4230B1E9B8BF6DD043A9"><enum>(1)</enum><text>recognizes the importance of the symbols and traditions of Christmas;</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="H7EA6005C27964F2C9AC61A6642339EC9"><enum>(2)</enum><text>strongly disapproves of attempts to ban references to Christmas; and</text> </paragraph><paragraph id="HD0FDA773702F4D718ECBCEA0491E98FF"><enum>(3)</enum><text>expresses support for the use of these symbols and traditions by those who celebrate Christmas.</text>
