<section display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="HCC7E4D4C827B4C88ABF6A026AE35ED6C" section-type="undesignated-section"><enum></enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">That—</text> <paragraph id="H147A2021D4CC496794D09941D6B117FA"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the whistleblower complaint received on August 12, 2019, by the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community shall be transmitted immediately to the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives; and </text> </paragraph>
<paragraph id="HACF0E3C1B2214EFCB3C9BDB0CDB91E4F"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives should be allowed to evaluate the complaint in a deliberate and bipartisan manner consistent with applicable statutes and processes in order to safeguard classified and sensitive information.</text> </paragraph></section> </resolution-body> <attestation><attestation-group><attestor display="no">Cheryl L.
