			 with regard to certain offenses committed by the President of the United
			 States during or prior to tenure in office, and for other purposes.</official-title></form>
	<legis-body id="H81B8BC4652334650BF52E1B8D055D3BA" style="OLC">
 <section id="HF4C2E8416280405AA7078F520330B904" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>No President is Above the Law Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="H0BB6AB26A8B046D687A158897DF31B70"><enum>2.</enum><header>Tolling of statute of limitations</header> <subsection id="HE40798EF513946E88C6A71834149B220"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Offenses committed by the President during or prior to tenure in office</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 3282 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H26D03343497345C68EEC8EE8BD3ECBEF" style="USC">
 <subsection id="H39C4181961A94267A8E63D45E5510A37"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Offenses committed by the President during or prior to tenure in office</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In the case of any person serving as President of the United States, the duration of that person’s tenure in office shall not be considered for purposes of any statute of limitations applicable to any Federal criminal offense committed by that person (including any offenses committed during any period of time preceding such tenure in office).</text>
					</subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
 </subsection><subsection id="H8C9F8387E92948E79DC85D1BE2E7A24D"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Applicability</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The amendments made by subsection (a) shall apply to any offense committed before the date of the enactment of this section, if the statute of limitations applicable to that offense had not run as of such date.</text>
