			 the United States to any individual who is a member, or is eligible to be
			 a member, of a Federally recognized Indian tribe in the United States or
			 Canada, and for other purposes.</official-title></form>
	<legis-body id="H4AB12FA1C63D459C8324F4F2A2FCC84C" style="OLC">
 <section id="H4A562202AF694B09BAF87405C5D1049F" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Tribal Border Crossing Parity Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="H21020EF4863541CDA2D307BED5DF14DD" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>American Indians born in Canada or the United States</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 289 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1359">8 U.S.C. 1359</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
 <paragraph id="H1157AC748DAF429B8000541905199C46"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by inserting after <quote>born in Canada</quote> the following: <quote>or the United States</quote>; and</text> </paragraph><paragraph id="H23017763143440FFB99130D407CE57E5"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by inserting after <quote>but such right shall extend only to persons</quote> the following: <quote>who are members, or are eligible to be members, of a Federally recognized Indian tribe in the United States or Canada, or </quote>.</text>
